Eine irre Story von einer verrückten Band: Die Bollock Brothers wurden 1979 vom Londoner DJ und Manager Jock McDonald gegründet und mit durchgeknallten Cover-Versionen berühmt und berüchtigt. Ihre bekanntesten und besten: “Faith Healer“ von der Sensational Alex Harvey Band, “Harley David (Son Of A Bitch)“ von Serge Gainsbourgh und “The Four Horsemen“ von Aphrodite‘s Child. 1983 veröffentlichten die Bollock Brothers mit NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS eine synthetische Version des Sex-Pistols-Klassiker. Musikalisch anfangs im Post Punk verortet, bewegten sich die Bollock Brothers völlig entfesselt durch alle Genre: Punk, Industrial, Synthie Pop, Disco usw. Die Band hatte in den Jahrzehnten ihrer Existenz immer wieder Phasen, wo sie pausierte, löste sich aber nie offiziell auf. Zu sehen sind die Alben THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE (1985), THE PROPHECIES OF NOSTRADAMUS (1987), die Maxi “Faith Healer“ (1986) und die obskure Kompilation WHAT A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS (2000).

In 1983, the Bollock Brothers released NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS, a synthesized version of the Sex Pistols classic. Musically initially located in Post-Punk, the Bollock Brothers moved completely unleashed through all genres: Punk, Industrial, Synth Pop, Disco, etc. The band had periods of breaks throughout the decades of its existence, but never officially disbanded.
