Ex-Yardbirds-Sänger Keith Relf verstarb am 14. Mai 1976 an den Folgen eines Stromschlags, den er sich beim Gitarrespielen zugezogen hatte. Er wurde 33 Jahre alt. Relf hatte die Yardbirds mitgegründet, die zum Sprungbrett der Gitarristen Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck und Jimmy Page wurden. Relf verließ 1968 die Yardbirds, die unter der Führung von Page zu den New Yardbirds wurden und schließlich zu Led Zeppelin mutierten. Relf gründete das Duo Together, bereicherte die folkige Prog-Formation Renaissance und spielte schließlich mit Armageddon eine Platte ein. Keith Relf war ein außerordentlich guter Sänger mit einer sehr forschen Stimme.
