SOUL-BALLADE BESCHERTE ELVIN BISHOP CHART-ERFOLG
Teilen
"Fooled Around And Fell In Love" (1976) gave guitarist, singer and songwriter Elvin Bishop his biggest chart success in the USA, reaching number three. Certainly, the Soul ballad was a good buying point for the then just released LP STRUTTIN' MY STUFF, however, the sixth album of the former Butterfield Blues Band musician had much more quality material to offer with a few hot Funk numbers and a very good version of the Temptations hit "My Girl". Nowadays the record is often overlooked by music fans, but should definitely be rediscovered.
