Und Boy Georges androgyner Look zwischen Hippie, Kleidersammlung und New Romantic fand zahlreiche Kopisten. Boy George war später solo unterwegs, mischte mit Culture Club in den 90s noch einmal kurz mit, sang Duette, hatte Gastbeiträge und kämpfte mit seiner Drogensucht. Der Sänger wird am 14. Juni 60 Jahre alt.
