P.P. ARNOLD: DIE BERÜHMTESTE BACKGROUND-SÄNGERIN WURDE 75
- Oct 11, 2021
Her chart history is less opulent: "First Cut Is The Deepest" (UK #18) is considered her most successful solo single. Instead, the list of songs she collaborated on and the musicians she worked with is breathtaking: "Itchykoo Park" (Small Faces), "Reach Out (I'll Be There)" (Chris Farlowe), "Come Home Baby" (Rod Stewart), "Born" (Barry Gibb), "Sledgehammer" (Peter Gabriel), and so on. She sang for the Rolling Stones, was a member of the Ikettes, did Pop, Blues, Soul, Funk and Disco. Her last background work so far she did in 2020 for the Fratellis. On October 3, P.P. Arnold turned 75 years old.
