- May 18, 2022
Am 14. Mai wird der Musiker 75 Jahre alt.
Guitarist and singer Al Ciner was a founding member in 1962 of the band that became American Breed in 1966. With the American Rock/Pop band he celebrated several chart successes and proved to be a talented songwriter. He then briefly joined the Country-Rock band Light Brigade before former American Breed members brought him into their new group, the Funk- and RnB formation Rufus. Ciner stayed there from 1970 to 1974, followed by a songwriting collaboration with Quincy Jones and, finally, an interlude with Three Dog Night, which was very popular in the United States. After that Al Ciner worked mainly as a studio musician and immortalized himself on countless important albums. In the meantime, there were American Breed reunions every now and then, in which Al Ciner was involved.
On May 14, the musician will be 75 years old.
