Gitarrist und Sänger Al Ciner war 1962 Gründungsmitglied jener Band, die sich 1966 zu American Breed entwickelte. Mit der amerikanischen Rock/Pop-Band feierte er mehrere Chart-Erfolge und erwies sich als talentierter Songwriter. Danach verdingte er sich kurzzeitig bei der Country-Rock-Band Light Brigade, bevor ihn ehemalige American-Breed-Mitglieder in ihre neue Gruppe holten, in die Funk-Rock-Formation Rufus. Dort blieb Ciner von 1970 bis 1974. Es folgten eine Songwriter-Zusammenarbeit mit Quincy Jones und schließlich ein Intermezzo bei den in den USA sehr populären Three Dog Night. Danach arbeitete Al Ciner vor allem als Studiomusiker und verewigte sich dadurch auf unzähligen bedeutenden Alben. Zwischenzeitlich gab es immer mal wieder American-Breed-Wiedervereinigungen, an denen Al Ciner beteiligt war.
Am 14. Mai wird der Musiker 75 Jahre alt.

After that Al Ciner worked mainly as a studio musician and immortalized himself on countless important albums. In the meantime, there were American Breed reunions every now and then, in which Al Ciner was involved.
