HOLLIES-DAUER-DRUMMER BOBBY ELLIOTT WURDE 80
Jens-Uwe BerndtTeilen
Bobby Elliott joined the Hollies in 1963, having formed only a year earlier. The drummer, whose trademark was various hats because of his thinning hair, still plays with the British band today. Thus, together with Tony Hicks, who brought him to the Hollies at that time, he forms the faction of the original members. Elliott modeled his playing on Jazz greats even as a beginner. He drummed in various Rock'n'Roll and Beat formations until the Hollies. On December 8, the musician turned 80 years old.
