Er ist im Vergleich zu beispielsweise Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain oder Amy Winehouse aber eher unbekannt: Leslie Harvey. Der Gitarrist gründete 1969 Stone The Crows, prägte den Stil der Band ebenso wie Sängerin Maggie Bell. Am 2. Mai 1972, als vor fast genau 50 Jahren, starb Leslie Harvey beim Soundcheck auf der Bühne an einem Stromschlag. Ursache war ein nicht geerdetes Mikrofon. Harvey wurde nur 27 Jahre alt.
