Nazareth-Bassist Peter Agnew wird am 14. September 75 Jahre alt. Er war Gründungsmitglied 1968 und gehört der Gruppe heute noch an. Seit 1999 spielt sein Sohn Lee in der Band Schlagzeug. Nazareth hatten ihre erfolgreichste Zeit in den Siebzigern, blieben live allerdings weiter eine Attraktion. Mit ihrem Album BOOGALOO (1998) kehrten sie zu alten Stärken zurück und veröffentlichten bis zum Ausstieg von Originalsänger Dan McCafferty 2013 weitere drei hervorragende Alben.
Nazareth bassist Peter Agnew turns 75 on September 14. He was a founding member in 1968 and is still with the group today. His son Lee has played drums in the band since 1999. Nazareth had their most successful period in the seventies, but continued to be an attraction live. With their album BOOGALOO (1998) they returned to old strengths and released another three excellent albums until the departure of original singer Dan McCafferty in 2013.
