In Germany, it was good enough for a 10. The Belgians and Dutch even briefly bought the song at No. 1. Similar to "Eloise" by Barry Ryan, "Music" was a small dramatic symphony that expressed all of the artist's passion for music in the lyrics. However, Miles was not a musician of light tones. The singer and guitarist arranged his pieces very elaborately. He made White Soul, Pop, Hard Rock and came very close to progressive tendencies.
Miles was present as a record and live artist until the end of the nineties. After that he still had selected stage and TV appearances.
John Miles already passed away on December 5 after a short illness.
