Ohne Gabor Presser wäre die Geschichte der ungarischen Rock-Musik anders verlaufen: 1967 stieg er bei Omega ein und machte die Band mit seinen Kompositionen zur führenden Formation Ungarns. Obendrein schrieb er der Band mit “Gyöngyhajú lány“ einen Welthit. 1971 gründete er Locomotov GT, die für ein paar Jahre den Thron als größte Band Ungarns beanspruchten und bis zuletzt neben Omega das Aushängeschild der ungarischen Rock-Szene blieben. Presser komponierte mehrere Rock-Musicals, schrieb für andere Künstler das Material ganzer Platten, produzierte, verfolgte eine Solo-Karriere, spielte Pop, Funk, Soul, Jazz Rock, Progressive Rock, Electronic, Hard Rock, Blues ... Anlässlich des Artikels über Locomotiv GT in der neuen GoodTimes, sei ihm am 27. Mai diese Würdigung zuteil. Wir gratulieren zum 73. Geburtstag.
