JETHRO-TULL-ORIGINAL-DUMMER CLIVE BUNKER WURDE 75
- Jan 03, 2022
Fittingly for our Jethro Tull cover story in the first GoodTimes magazine of the coming year, Tull original drummer, Clive Bunker, turns 75 on December 30. You can hear just how good the man is on the British prog formation's first five albums (including the compilation LIVING IN THE PAST - 1972). After that Bunker was in demand as a musician, which is why he drummed for Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Steve Howe, Jack Bruce, Glenn Hughes, Uli Jon Roth, Steve Hillage and Generation X, among others. He was a founding member of the Progressive Rock band Aviator (with Earth Band singer/guitarist Mick Rogers, among others), with whom he released two albums in 1979 and 1980, and he was part of Blodwyn Pig since the nineties.
