Greg T. Walker, Bassist und Gründungsmitglied der Heavy-Southern-Rock-Band Blackfoot, wird am 8. Juli 70 Jahre alt. Der Mann vom Stamm der Muscogee (Florida) prägte den Stild der Band maßgeblich. Gemeinsam mit seinem Band-Kollegen Rickey Medlocke half er 1971/72 bei Lynyrd Skynyrd aus. Bei Blackfoot blieb er bis 1986 und reformierte 2004 die Band ohne Medlocke. Mittlerweile spielt Walker in der Gruppe Two Wolf, die auf extrem hohem songwriterischen Niveau eine knallharte Southern-Rock-Variante spielt.
Greg T. Walker, bassist and founding member of the Heavy Southern Rock band Blackfoot, turns 70 on July 8. The man from the Muscogee tribe (Florida) significantly shaped the style of the band. Together with his bandmate Rickey Medlocke, he helped out with Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1971/72. He stayed with Blackfoot until 1986 and reformed the band without Medlocke in 2004.
