ER SCHRIEB ROCK-GESCHICHTE: DAVID COVERDALE WURDE 70
- Sep 28, 2021
David Coverdale's unprecedented career began in one of the greatest Rock bands of all time when he became the lead singer of Deep Purple in 1973. After the split of the British Heavy Metal pioneers, he tried it as a soloist, but decided again for a band constellation: Whitesnake appeared on the scene in 1978 to write Rock history in the following 15 years. After recommending himself as a Led Zeppelin singer with his million-selling album WHITESNAKE in 1987, it came to the first collaboration with Zep guitarist Jimmy Page in 1991, which resulted in the album COVERDALE-PAGE in 1993. Coverdale is still present with Whitesnake to this day. The singer turns 70 years old on September 22.
