DEBÜT DER PUNKS AUS DERBY LANDETE IN DEN TOP 50
- Jul 02, 2022
Anti-Pasti - founded in Derby in 1978 - were almost a bit late with their record debut in 1981. Nevertheless THE LAST CALL... still reached number 31 in the British album charts. The sound was reminiscent of the early days of British Punk, which is why the LP could have been made in 1976 or 1977. Any Core styles or New Wave innovations did not matter to the quartet. Not least, Anti-Pasti acquired a legendary reputation because of this consistent attitude. The Stooges cover "I Wanna Be Your Dog" is also very strong.
