DEAD-KENNEDEYS-SCHLAGZEUGER DARREN HENLEY MIT 63 JAHREN VERSTORBEN
- Oct 31, 2022
D.H. Peligro (Darren Henley) was only absent from their debut album FRESH FRUIT FOR ROTTEN VEGETABLES (1980), but joined The Dead Kennedys, formed in 1978, as drummer in 1981 and was involved in all of the political Punk rockers' releases from the EP IN GOD WE TRUST, INC. onward. In 1986 The Dead Kennedys disbanded. This was followed in the nineties by an unworthy and bitter legal dispute between band head Jello Biafra and the rest of the formation for royalties. In 2001, D.H. Peligro was part of the lineup that reunited without Biafra under the name Dead Kennedys. He belonged to this incarnation until the end. Henley died on October 28 from a skull injury after an accident.
