- Jun 17, 2022
Julie Driscoll, who turned 75 on June 8, proved to be a jack of all trades in a career that began in the sixties. She sang Pop, Psychedelic Rock, Jazz, Folk and Soul - to name a few directions. In addition to Folk-Rock solo stuff, she collaborated with Brian Auger & The Trinity very early on, was a member of the short-lived Soul band Steampacket, recorded numerous records with her husband and Jazz musician Keith Tippett, sang for Working Week, etc. She is still active today.
